There's a new restaurant in Lahaina, Maui. Led by chef and owner Alvin Savella, Coco Deck Lahaina Kitchen + Bar, officially opened Sep. 7 on Front Street.
"The new restaurant aims to fill a gap in the area near the Lahaina Cannery on Front Street, bringing a fresh, community-focused dining experience that blends Mexican, local, seafood and American flavors," the restaurant said in a news release. Savella was former chef and owner of the award-winning restaurant Duckine, which recently closed.
Coco Deck Lahaina's menu includes tacos, burgers, fresh fish, tropical cocktails and mocktails. The restaurant is family friendly with multiple TVs and a kid zone.
The restaurant is open daily from 3-10 p.m. with a happy hour from 3-5 p.m.
