British Airways will beef up service between London Heathrow and several U.S. cities next summer.

The carrier plans to fly twice daily between Heathrow and Miami, up from its current daily offering. To Washington Dulles, British Airways will fly thrice daily, up from twice per day this past summer. And the carrier will up its London-Austin service from daily to 13 times per week.

BA will also increase service between Heathrow and Las Vegas from daily during peak months to 10 times per week. Pittsburgh will get one additional weekly frequency to London, bringing the service to daily for the first time.

"We continue to grow our network, and these additional services across the U.S. reflect the growing demand for travel to and from London," said British Airways chief planning and strategy officer Neil Chernoff.

BA will operate a record number of flights between the U.S. and North America for the airline, with more than 400 during the busiest summer weeks.

The airline flies nonstop from London to 26 U.S. cities.
