The Norwegian Viva is less than a year old, but it will undergo some alterations during a 19-night repositioning cruise to Europe that departs next week, reports Cruise Industry News.
The Viva will depart from Puerto Rico on April 7 and cruise to Lisbon. During the cruise, several spaces will be closed for upgrades.
The Speedway Bar, which was designed for guests to visit after finishing their ride on the three-deck race track, will be replaced by the Entourage, a space for teenagers up to 17 years old. The line will also upgrade the Galaxy Pavilion, the ship's arcade with virtual-reality games.
The upgrades will require the Bull's Eye darts area, Tee Time mini-golf, the Stadium area with games like shuffleboard, The Wave waterslide and a section of the Galaxy Pavilion to close during the cruise.
