Cruise lines operating Caribbean sailings have altered itineraries to avoid Hurricane Ernesto.

• The Norwegian Breakaway, which cruised out of Miami on Aug. 11 on a seven-day Eastern Caribbean itinerary, is sailing instead in the Western Caribbean with calls at Roatan, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and the line's private destination in Belize, Harvest Caye.

• The Norwegian Sky's Aug. 12 cruise out of Miami, which was supposed to sail a 9-day Eastern Caribbean route, will sail in the Western Caribbean instead. The ship will call at the same destinations as the Breakaway along with Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

• The Norwegian Joy's Aug. 12 seven-day Bermuda cruise from New York City was changed to arrive in Bermuda on Aug. 13, one day earlier than scheduled. The vessel will still overnight at the Royal Naval Dockyard for two days, but it will depart on Aug. 16.

• The Aug. 10 sailing of Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas is currently on a 7-night Western Caribbean itinerary visiting Cozumel, Mexico; Roatan, Honduras; and Costa Maya, Mexico in place of its scheduled 7-night Eastern Caribbean sailing.

• The Rhapsody of the Seas' Aug. 11 sailing swapped the order of its ports of call, spending a sea day on Aug. 12; visiting Bridgetown, Barbados on Aug. 13; Castries, St. Lucia on Aug. 14; St. Johns, Antigua on Aug. 15; Phillipsburg, St. Maarten on Aug. 16; and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Aug. 17.

• The Symphony of the Seas' Aug. 9 sailing is visiting Nassau in the Bahamas in place of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

• The Carnival Pride is sailing a Bermuda cruise from Baltimore. The ship's two-day visit to Bermuda arrived Aug. 13 and is departing Aug. 15, one day earlier than scheduled.

• The Carnival Magic is sailing an Eastern Caribbean cruise from Miami and canceled a visit to San Juan on Aug. 14. A visit to Nassau was added for Aug. 16.
